For sheer elegance of design both inside and out, these twin graceful Grace Liners, the Santa Rosa and Santa Paula (the second!), make my top ten list. With interiors by none other than Dorothy Marckwald (SS United States), these two vessels were as classy as they were gay (in the '50s sense of the word, of course!). Sorry for the creases in the illustrations. Perhaps someday I'll actually purchase and learn to use PhotoShop!
