Maybe it's because I've actually traveled aboard this ship in her final incarnation as Premier Cruise Line's Rembrandt, or maybe it's because with the exception of her livery, the carpets, and upholstery, the Rotterdam V was (and is) still 99.9% original in her stunning mid-century "Dutch Deco."

As much as I love this vessel, imagine my surprise when, in designing this website, I discovered that I have not one single vintage color image!  So for this page, number 6 on the shipgeek top 10, I'm posting photographs taken from my voyage in May of 2000.  Hopefully, I'll get a chance to stay aboard her as a hotel when she is preserved by the SS Rotterdam Foundation!
