What can I say about the venerable RMS Queen Mary, except that she was and is a truly lovely lady.  With understated style and class, she doesn't boast her art deco design the way the Normandie practically shouts "Hey!  Look at me!  I'm deco!"  From the myriad varieties of exotic woods used in her rooms, to the elegant lines of her superstructure, the Mary set a high standard for nautical interior design -- and earns the number 7 rank on the shipgeek hit parade.  And best of all, she's still with us, and just a short commute for those of us in Southern California.  Long may she live!
